entirely freed
«In the “furnace of the cross” and in the fire, says the “Aquarium
sapientum,” “man, like the earthly gold, attains to the true black
Raven’s Head; that is, he is utterly disfigured and is held in derision
by the world, and this is not only for forty days and nights, or years,
but often for the whole duration of his life; … Through this spiritual
death his soul is entirely freed."» - Jung, Mysterium coniunctionis,
pp. 353-354.

In ten years of sojourn in ce pays der Teufel, is four times moving due to noise that happens to be made by thugs congregating right underneath my windows enough ?! No, they want it five times in ten years.
And what's the solution?!
Open-ended isolation through rumour-mongering, provocations, stress, sleep deprivation through bands of loitering hooligans who happen to congregate wherever i happen to live, without the least whiff of a legal framework - causing me to move residence four to five times now.
Because police will not deign do civic policing work maintaining order, quiet, and a resident's rights to not be besieged by boisterous hostile loiterers - or even rebuke them when they assault me.
No, the police does big boy police stuff like counter terrorism, and political mobilization and repression.
But noise complaints, hooliganisms, assaults on residents deprived of sleep? that's kid stuff to them. not the essence of civilized living at all.
And neighbors either too scared or helpless or plain apathetic to do anything.

Ableton Live 9 32-bit or 64-bit
There is not much difference in performance between the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Live 9, however there's a catch. The 64-bit version does not host 32-bit VST plugins - without the use of a third party tool.
Ableton has a very convenient page and Q&A on the differences - between the two editions of Ableton Live 9, "64-bit Myth and Facts".
In effect, it does not differ in performance, except in the ability of using more RAM with plugins or "Ableton sets" that require it.
To host 32-bit VST plugins however, this article, also at the Ableton website, "How can I use and maintain my 32-bit VST plug-ins with the 64-bit version of Live using jBridge on Windows?" says that "third party tools such as jBridge" make that possible.

recent music discoveries
Some great/enjoyable/interesting maestro della tracks recently heard/found at sndcld ab the gyp e the wider arabic/pseudo-arabic music scene, that with wider exposure would hopefully & thankfully have positive and long anticipated sociological implications because these forms of musical expression (e.g., cross-genre parody and punk) reflect ...(positive social values, for lack of better terms - such as liberation mentality and heightened individualism and its acceptance by society which leads to emergent and thus free and natural historical vectors of advancement/evolution such as a richer economy of ideas creativity and technical innovation - in the absence of freedom of expression).

Incidentally, any production quality limitations that can be discerned in these tracks highlight only that sufficient support for this budding/flowering industry is wanting.

This posts tests out Lucas Bebber's Glitch effect, in a few incremental steps, as explained and coded (and modified) in "Glitch Effect on Text / Images / SVG" by Chris Coyier, css-tricks.com, 08.September.2014. Found via css-tricks' twitter feed @Real_CSS_Tricks.
However the SASS @keyframes loop facility used to automate the clip property values for the ::after and ::before copies did not work. Instead, clip values were entered manually for @keyframes.
Using the loop results in no flickering or glitch, which maybe related either to the loop construct or to an error on the random function on the part of the browser, or some issue related to restrictions by the blogging host of this post.

etymo note: Obsus, obsidian & habasha
Obsus, obsidian, ar./semitic ḥabasha.
However Abyssinia could be from the Greek a- (for negation) + byssos (depth), denoting a land in the far deep (south).
If Abyssinia's chief ancient export was from the Obsus, then it would indicate the whole country got its name from it.

Constellations point
This what constellations would normally look like when seen from Earth.
When seen from outside, howver, the constellations all point toward the Earth.
Seen way out from outside the galaxy, we have,
It seems the star α Cam (Alpha Camelopardalis, Alpha Cam, α Camelopardalis, HD 30614, HIP 22783, SAO 13298) is the farthest out in constellations stars.
As the Celestia wikibook pointed it out here, and as it was my reference on Celestia, one of the first things I used Celestia to demonstrate was the three dimensional nature of the constellations, wrt respect to their actual positions - contrary to what they seem to us, flat connect-the-dots.
I knew that from before, but had not quite grasped the fact that as a result of our vantage point, all constellations, in 3D, when looked at from far enough, actually point at the solar system, or rather the Earth.
Discounting the add-ons (that can be found at celestia motherlode) Most of the stars cataloged in the Celestia package reside in a particular region of the galaxy, in the sun’s neighborhood, as can be seen below,
and here,
Similar view, with more stars displayed (auto magnitude limit set to max),
